प्रश्न : RBI का मुख्य कार्य मौद्रिक नीति का निर्धारण करना है और देश में आर्थिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देकर आर्थिक विकास में वृद्धि करना होता है। RBI का परोक्ष कार्य बढ़ती हुई मुद्रास्फीति को नियंत्रित रखना भी होता है। पर वर्तमान में देखा जा रहा है कि RBI अपने प्राथमिक कार्य की जगह द्वितीयक कार्यों को ज्यादा महत्व देने लगा है जिसका असर देश के आर्थिक विकास पर दृष्टिगोचर हो रहा है। क्या RBI को मौद्रिक नीति के निर्धारण तक ही सीमित रहना चाहिए। और मुद्रास्फीति पर नियंत्रण का दायित्व अन्य किसी संस्था को सौंप देना चाहिए। समालोचनात्मक विचार प्रस्तुत कीजिये।
Q RBI's main task is to determine monetary policy and to increase economic growth by promoting economic activity in the country. It also has to work indirectly to control rising inflation. However, currently it is being observed that secondary functions are becoming more important than primary functions and this is becoming visible by looking at the country's economic growth. Should function of RBI be limited to just determination of the monetary policy and responsibility of managing Inflation should be handed over to any other entity. Critically examine the statement.
